Cannes Lions 2015 takes place once again at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes from the 21-27 June 2015. Arguably the most exciting and innovative Cannes event of the year, Cannes Lions is the International Festival of Creativity. Energetic young designers from across the globe descend on Cannes in their thousands, and the city becomes a hive of activity, buzzing with an energy unlike at any other Cannes event. At Lions there are very few egos to get in the way, just a bunch of like minded individuals coming together for an epic brainstorming session! Ideas flow through the many parties like the chilled rosé being poured and under the Riviera sunshine vital connections are made, projects born and new ways of thinking evolve. Inside the Palais there are plenty of debates and discussions that take place throughout the week. Exciting keynote speakers from a diverse cross section, deliver thought provoking seminars. For 2015, the line up includes Al Gore, Jamie Oliver and Marilyn Manson! Along with the CEO of the Publicis Group holding a live chat with superstar DJ David Guetta! Bringing together such a diverse cast of “creative visionaries”, the festival strives to illuminate that first spark of a great idea, driving forwards the world of creativity and advertising which ultimately benefits us all as consumers. The best forward thinking creators in a wide range of categories are rewarded each year for their innovation and success. Receiving an acclaimed Cannes Lions Award is an achievement in itself and through this recognition, Cannes Lions strives to keep those “eureka” moments occurring constantly throughout the year as every young, exciting designer and producer competes to be the best!
