The countdown to the Cannes Film Festival has begun. In just days, the eyes of the world will turn to Cannes as the 68th annual edition transforms the French Riviera into the epicentre of global cinema.

The acclaimed directors of cult classics such as Fargo and The Big Lebowski will lead a panel of nine jurors in awarding the coveted Palme d’Or, the festival’s ultimate prize.

Among the most sought-after invitations is the legendary amfAR Gala at Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Cap d’Antibes — a venue synonymous with Hollywood glamour. Now in its 22nd year in Cannes, this black-tie evening unites the worlds of cinema, fashion and philanthropy to raise funds in the fight against AIDS. With performances from internationally renowned artists and a guest list packed with A-listers, the amfAR Gala remains the social highlight of the festival calendar.
